Bolgheri born from the center of the Maremma Livornese, at the end of Metalliferous Hills. The village is spread around the medieval castle, situated on a hill. The town is famous not only for the beauty of its landscape even for its great red wines. Among the most famous wines produced are Sassicaia, wine and numerous autochthonous sangiovese wines of Tenuta dell'Ornellaia estate and Guado al Tasso.
